01If you decide the YouDoPet cover is not what you need, you can cancel your cover and membership within 14 days of the date your cover period starts or when you receive, or can access, full details of your cover. If you have not made a claim and there is no potential claim you will receive a full refund.

02If you cancel your membership after the first 14 days of a cover period, we may return a part of your membership fee. Your cover would stop on the cancellation date and, if you haven’t made a claim or no claim may be made by you, you would not have to pay a share of claims made by other members after the cancellation date.

03If you make a claim, or there is a potential claim, your membership will carry on until the end of the year in which the claim was made. You will not be able to cancel your membership until the end of that year. This is because you will still have to pay your share of other members’ claims for that year. The Petfair Price Promise will still apply so you will still never pay more than you would have done if you had bought insurance with similar cover.

Cancellation by us

We can cancel your cover and membership by giving you at least 14 days’ notice in writing, and if we do we may return part of your membership fee.

We will only cancel your cover if we have a good reason, for example

01If you do not pay your membership fee or share of other Members’ claims

02A change to your circumstances or your pet that means we cannot continue your membership

03If you do not cooperate with us or do not give us information we reasonably ask for.
