Thought to originate in ancient China or Tibet, the Shih Tzu is a beautiful, friendly, lively, devoted companion. Sometimes called the Chrysanthemum Dog, the Shih Tzu is a very old breed of dog which makes a great companion and is great with kids. Because of their long coat and fast-growing hair, they need to be groomed regularly.
